A few days after Suzanne and Adam’s beautiful Christmas wedding, which we showcased in our previous blog post, we reunited for their Christmas after wedding photos in Salzburg.
The couple adores everything about Christmas – the lights, the delicious treats, and especially the festive markets that exude a magical atmosphere with their stunning decorations. The Christkindlmarkt in Salzburg is renowned as one of the most beautiful markets, with the historic Old Town and surrounding mountains providing a unique backdrop. The many market stalls are a dream for every Christmas enthusiast. From the start, Suzanne and Adam knew their honeymoon had to include a visit to the Salzburg Christmas market. When they told us about it, we immediately decided that the Christmas after wedding photos in Salzburg would begin right there.
Though it was unusual for us, it was perfect for the couple: a photoshoot right in the heart of Salzburg, where every street was adorned with lights, pine branches, and Christmas ornaments.
We strolled through the city’s most charming streets together, enjoying the peaceful, early-morning calm in the festively decorated alleys before the crowds arrived.
Afterward, we left the city and headed to the idyllic Fuschlsee. Overnight, fresh snow had blanketed the landscape, creating a breathtaking winter scene. The combination of the pristine white surroundings and the lake’s turquoise waters offered a stunning backdrop. The sun occasionally peeked through the clouds, enhancing the magical atmosphere.
It was the perfect location for their Christmas after wedding photos in Salzburg, and we were thrilled that Suzanne and Adam’s dream of snowy wedding photos had come true.
