Christmas Elopement in Austria
Suzanne and Adam love Christmas – the heartfelt decorations, romantic movies, countless fairy lights and candles creating a cozy atmosphere, and, of course, the snow – and so the decision was easy to celebrate a Christmas Elopement in Austria.
One of their most memorable trips together was visiting a Christmas market in Austria. The magical charm of the holiday season, with the scent of delicious spices, crackling fires, soft music, and the tranquility of short winter days, was exactly what they envisioned for their intimate Christmas Elopement in Austria.
At the end of November, their special day finally arrived. The idyllic Chalet Resort La Posch in Tyrol provided the perfect setting for their romantic Christmas Elopement in Austria.
Although the day began gray and overcast, the atmosphere inside the chalet was warm and festive. Suzanne and Adam had prepared many loving details: a custom-engraved ring box adorned with their photo, beautifully designed envelopes for their vows, and embroidered wedding hats featuring their new family name. Countless candles and floral arrangements in festive red and green tones completed the setting for the Christmas Elopement in Austria perfectly.
The terrace of their cozy chalet had been beautifully arranged for the ceremony, offering a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. The wooden roof provided shelter from the wet weather. The officiant had prepared a heartfelt ceremony, including a handfasting ritual and the couple’s personal vows, which became the emotional highlight of the event.
After the ceremony, we explored the charming corners of the chalet village together, discovering picturesque spots that perfectly matched the festive theme of their Christmas Elopement in Austria.
Back in their cozy chalet, Suzanne and Adam warmed up by the crackling fire, and Suzanne surprised us with a second wedding dress, adding another layer of magic to the day.
Next, we drove to a nearby lake, fulfilling another of the couple’s dreams. By now, the rain had turned to snow up here by the lake, covering the landscape in a pristine white blanket within minutes – the perfect backdrop for their photos for their Christmas Elopement in Austria.
The mist over the lake created a mystical ambiance, and their embroidered wedding hats fit seamlessly into this enchanting scene.
As dusk fell, we returned to the cozy warmth of the chalet for the couple’s first dance.
Surrounded by candlelight and sparklers, we ended the day in a festive atmosphere, thrilled to see even more snow falling outside. The fresh snowfall promised a stunning winter wonderland for their upcoming after-wedding photoshoot.
We always love it when couples plan weddings that are a perfect reflection of who they are. I couldn’t imagine a better season or location for Suzanne and Adam. It was heartwarming to see how happy they were on their special day and to witness all the touching moments they shared. Their wedding day was exactly as they had envisioned, and the snowfall that evening was the crowning touch to their Christmas wedding in Austria.
Suzanne and Adam´s Review after their Christmas Elopement in Austria
Victoria and Fabian photographed our recent elopement in Tyrol, Austria and a post-wedding photo session in Salzburg. They were absolutely incredible from our initial meeting online and throughout to our photographs which are so beautiful. Their approach was brilliant, they are so talented and helped us feel comfortable and created stunning photos. They met with us and talked though all the details, ahead of the days they provided really comprehensive options for locations with all the information needed to make a decision without being able to visit! They developed a timeline and plan for the day to make sure everything went well and were really quick to respond to any of our questions.
On the day, Victoria and Fabian arrived early to start setting up so everything ran smoothly. As it was an elopement, Victoria was kind enough to help me in my dress (she also helped at various points with walking it the dress too)! Victoria and Fabian also drove us to the different locations, adjusted all the set ups, brought everything needed (umbrella included) and had a plan for when the weather turned bad, so we didn’t have to think about anything other than being in the moment and enjoying our day which we’re so grateful for. We had the most perfect time and Victoria and Fabian really helped make that happen. Now we have the stunning photos they captured to always remind us of these days. We really can’t recommend them enough!
