A Magical Start: First Look with a Fun Twist
Before the real festivities began, a funny moment brought plenty of laughter: Instead of the bride, the best man appeared in a wedding dress for the “First Look” to briefly surprise the groom. The atmosphere was immediately relaxed and filled with joy.
Of course, the bride was also ready, and the real First Look that followed was even more beautiful – a truly unforgettable moment!

After the touching First Look, we took advantage of the stunning mountain scenery for breathtaking couple photos. The blooming wildflowers surrounding the Rufana Alp transformed the landscape into a colorful nature paradise – the perfect backdrop for romantic wedding pictures on the Rufana Alp.
Civil Ceremony at Villa Falkenhorst
For the legal civil wedding ceremony, we traveled to the historic Villa Falkenhorst in Thüringen. With its elegant ambiance, it provided a wonderful setting for the official vows and the welcome drinks afterwards.
A Unique Ride to the Reception on the Rufana Alp
After all the guests and the newlyweds had enjoyed delicious cupcakes and macarons, it was time to head back up to the Rufana Alp. To make the journey as easy and special as possible, the guests were transported on a tractor-pulled train to the Rufana Alp – a unique experience that heightened the anticipation for the celebration.
In the meantime, before all the guests arrived at the wedding location in the mountains, the couple’s four-legged family members had their special moment. During a short walk, we took wedding photos with the dogs and enjoyed some quiet moments before the party began.
Upon arrival at the Rufana Alp, the wedding party was welcomed by a beautifully decorated venue. The tables were adorned with loving details and regional flowers – a perfect blend of alpine charm and elegance. With a heartfelt speech, the groom opened the evening program, followed by a delicious meal that everyone enjoyed.
