It is an unbelievable feeling to be alone on a sand dune in the middle of the desert, just you and your beloved one. You look deep into the eyes of each other. It’s utterly silent around you. All you can hear are your heartbeats. You cuddle close together and watch the first rays of the sun rising behind the dunes on the morning of your Morocco Wedding in the Sahara Desert.
To get to the perfect location for Lisa and Fabian’s epic wedding photos, we drove over nine hours through Morocco and then rode for two more hours with camels through the sand dunes of the Sahara desert. The long journey got richly rewarded with spectacular views and a breathtaking landscape. From our bedouin camp at a small oasis in the middle of the Sahara, we could see thousands of stars at night.
The next morning, we walked up to a sand dune where we had a perfect sunrise view. When the first sunrays winked out, the mood was just gorgeous and perfect for the adventurous desert elopement photos Lisa and Fabian had wished for.
Morocco Wedding Photos by a Sand Dune
Back in Merzouga, we found a nice spot near a vast sand dune.
The two lovers changed into an elegant wedding outfit by Gio Rodrigues, and as the sun disappeared behind the sand dunes, the two danced one last time through the desert sand before heading back to Marrakech the next day.
